Affinity Ampol Phos is simply Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP) without the jargon marketing! APP has been inflated significantly by marketing speciality fertiliser producers. ALF APP is the same any APP. Its a quality assured nitrogen and phosphate fertiliser.

APP is best used in alkaline conditions. Its chemical structure results in a slower release of phosphorus. In acid conditions the release will be slower so the use of alternative phosphorus sources is recommended. For those with alkaline soils this is an excellent option.
